Sasha, a freshman from a happy family of Soviet diplomats, changes her path in life dramatically after she meets a group of hippies persecuted by society. After a quarrel with her fiancé, she lies to her parents and cancels a long-awaited trip abroad in order to become more acquainted with the leader of the hippies, "The Sun." During a hippie demonstration, Sasha is arrested by the police. "The Sun" rescues the protesters who were arrested but pays a special interest to Sasha. He takes her on an adventure in order to visit the House of the Sun. Their love blooms even in the mist of the iron regime and lots of adventures are ahead.
